Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how BowPress ("we", "the app") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the iOS application.

Information we collect

Account identity — when you sign in with Apple, Google, or email, we store your user ID and email address to authenticate your account.
App content you create — bow configurations, arrow setups, shooting sessions, notes, and related metadata. This data is stored so you can access it across devices.
Device token — if you enable push notifications, we store your Apple-issued device token to deliver notifications.
Subscription status — we receive the result of in-app purchase transactions from Apple to determine whether your subscription is active. We do not receive your payment details.

Information we do not collect

Location, contacts, photos, or files outside of the app.
Advertising identifiers. BowPress does not show ads and does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Payment card information. All payments are processed by Apple.

How we use information

To authenticate you and sync your data across your devices.
To send push notifications you have opted into (e.g., session reminders).
To verify your subscription status and unlock paid features.
To respond to support requests you send us.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare for hosting and Apple for authentication and push delivery) to the minimum extent needed to operate the service.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account, which removes your data from our systems within 30 days.

Children

BowPress is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be surfaced in the app before they take effect.
